Hosts Ghana will face surprise favourites Senegal in the GoTV Wafu Cup final on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
A new name will be placed on the Wafu Cup trophy after defending champions, Togo failed to make it to the final.
Ghana started as one of the favorites to win the tournament despite facing a difficult campaign during the group stages but they showed enough determination to reach the final.
Maxwell Konadu's side have every reason to believe that they can take down Senegal after finishing winners in Group A.
For Konadu whose side have won two games an lost once, the qualities shown by his team in reaching the final is commendable going into Thursday's game which kicks off at 17:30GMT.
Senegal have been the best team in the competition, winning all their three group matches to deservedly progress to the final.
For the Senegalese, it will be a battle of extending their winning streak in the final but their coach Joseph Francois Koto admits that the game can go either way.
“Now, we are in the final and everything is possible then. If I had been told that we would make the final, I would have doubted but it is now a reality,” Koto said as his side pitch for a fourth-straight victory at the competition.
Before the final clash, Benin and Togo will meet in the third-place match which starts at 14:30GMT.
