Yaw Yeboah remains confident Ghana will qualify for U-23 Africa Cup of Nations despite being held 1-1 at home by Algeria in the first leg of the final round qualifier.
Dauda Mohammed scored a second-half penalty to cancel out Zorgane Adem's strike to save Black Meteors from defeat on Friday.
The result could have been different had Yaw Yeboah converted a penalty in the first half.
That away goal means Algeria holds the slight upper hand going into the return leg on Tuesday but Yeboah is staying positive, saying: "We didn't lose the match, it ended in a 1-1 draw. We can also score against them in Algiers”
"We still have the chance to qualify. It's not over yet. Ghanaians are expecting a lot from us.
"We have the quality to win against Algeria, everything happens in football."
The aggregate winners after both legs join six other teams and host Egypt for the final tournament between November 8 and 22.
Afcon will serve as qualifiers for next year's Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan, with the top three teams in Egypt set to represent Africa at the global showpiece.
Ghana are seeking a first appearance at the Olympics since Athens 2004.
