The United Front Party (UFP) has indefinitely suspended its presidential candidate in the 2012 general election Akwasi Addai.
Addai who is popularly known as Odike is reported to have rained curses on the KMA Chief Executive Mr Kojo Bonsu and the Chief of Asokwa, Nana OfeBaamoah II following a minor dispute.
The party in a statement signed by National Chairman Nana Agyenim Boateng described the action as "appalling and an embarrassment to the image of our dear party."
The statement said the National Executive Council of the party has unanimously decided to suspend its 2012 flagbearer "till further notice."
The statement instructed Odike to hand over all party property in his possession including vehicles used for the 2012 presidential campaign to Mr David Esie Bonya Director of operations.
Odike is yet to comment on his suspension.
