Police Ladies recorded the biggest win ever in the National Women's League, hitting 13 goals in a single match as the competition kicked off.
On the opening weekend of football in the second season of the League, Police Ladies found their target to shoot down Ayoola Ladies 13-0.
The goal haul has sent Police Ladies tops in the Southern Division though they are level on points with defending champions Hasaacas.
Hasaacas got their title defence off to a good start, winning 1-0 on the road against Soccer Intellectuals. It was their third-straight win after they completed a league double over Soccer Intellectuals last season.
Newly promoted side, Lady Strikers posted a 1-0 victory past Immigration Ladies.
In the Northern Division, it was not all joy for Fabulous Ladies as they could only pick a share the spoils with Ampem Darkoa Ladies after drawing goalless on the opening day of the league.
It was all-even in the clash between Prisons and Ashtown Ladies with the matching ending 2-2.
Oforikrom Ladies appeared too sharp for debutants, Sharp Arrows with the former winning 1-0 in their match.
