The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has denied reports that Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah will be undergoing an attachment to build his capacity ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.
There are media reports that the Ghana FA has secured an attachment in Europe for Appiah to meet world class managers to understudy them and enhance his knowledge due to his inexperience at the world Cup.
But Ghana FA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie Daara on last Saturday’s Sports Link programme on Joy FM vehemently denied the story stating coach Appiah will not undertake any attachment.
“Is true that coach Kwasi Appiah will visit some European clubs but it is not an attachment, you said capacity building, I will probably think that is the right word to use,” said Daara
“He wants to go and share ideas with top coaches not necessarily to go on attachment, it looks like a student on internship.
“He will go there and talk to some of the best coaches on how they prepare their teams and listen to their philosophy for matches and a lot more.”
