Hearts of Oak fans attacked their Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe during a league game.
A cross section of the club’s fans last Sunday attacked the club’s MD to demand questions on the current performance of the team.
The incident occurred when Hearts played Aduana Stars in the week14 fixture of the Premiership competition.
The Hearts fans numbering over 20 jumped into the VIP area of the Len Clay Spots Stadium to attack the MD as they heckled and molested him for failing to hire the services of a more competent Coach than Mohammed Polo whom they have described a incompetent.
But for a few Police men on duty at the stadium and some faithful Hearts fans who run to the aid of the MD, he would have been manhandled at the Len Clay Sports Stadium by fans of his club.
The agitations started when Hearts fell behind to Aduana as the fans felt the Technical team lacked the technical knowhow to avert the situation. The game eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.
Some of the aggrieved fans who spoke to sportscrusaderonline.com said “We are disappointed in him. He has been around in football for a long and we expected something much better from him than he has offered to Hearts so far. He is part of our problems because we believe he could have hired a more competent coach than Polo who only enjoys making noise on radio”
