The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced February 4, for the application of tickets for the Brazil World Cup in June.
Speaking at a conference on Monday, the vice president of the GFA, Fred Crentsil asked supporters interested in travelling to Brazil to complete the application form on the said date and make payment on February 28.
“I will advise the supporters to complete an application form on February 4. So if you want to buy a ticket for the group stage match to the finals, you have to fill the hard ticket application form and present it to the GFA.
"Once you are a supporter, your application will be approved. However, you need to pay for the ticket by February 28. With the ticket allocation for groups, you have to collect your ticket in Brazil. We will have an administrator for each ticket allocation group so that a smart card will be given to collect the ticket in Brazil”.
Crentsil said that supporters that wished to purchase the tickets with their credit cards could do so through the GFA website.
“Applicants with credit card can apply to the FA website and pay directly to FIFA. But those with the hard ticket application are to deposit their forms to the regional offices or the FA headquarters, " he said.
Ghana are housed in Group G alongside Germany, Portugal and USA.
