Players of Accra Hearts of Oak led by Captain of the side Moro Abubakar have hailed the club’s Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV for introducing prompt changes at the club.
Speaking exclusively to our correspondent soon after resuming training on Monday morning, players of the team said the Board Chairman has introduced new changes which has improved on player welfare, medication care and prompt payments of salaries and winning bonuses including other allowances.
They have therefore praised him for taking the welfare of the players into heart which has ensured that all players take to the field of play without any welfare problems.
Team Captain Moro Abubakar on behalf of his team mates revealed to our correspondent that “We (players) are grateful to him for meeting all of our needs which has given us all the good heart to continue to work hard for the success of the team and our careers.
Gone are the days that we were owed salaries, winning bonuses and our general welfare wasn’t the best. Now under the guidance of Togbe Afede and the MD players are paid promptly and our winning bonuses are never delayed”.
He added that “Our welfare and medical care is at its best now and we are all happy and ready to work our hearts out for him to move this club forward. We have resolved to repay him for showing faith in us and responding to our needs”.
