Prices of Petroleum products are expected to go up between 6 and 19 percent from Thursday January 16.
Joy Business has gathered that Petrol would go up by 6 per cent per liter, and would be selling at GH¢2.19.
Diesel would go up by 7 per cent at the pumps and would be selling GH¢2.26.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and unified oil would witness almost 9 per cent jump in price per liter.
However, Kerosene would record the highest increase of 19 per cent per liter.
The change in price of the petroleum produces is in line with the review in prices of petroleum products every two weeks.
Public Relations Officer at the National Petroleum Authority, Yaro Kasambatahm attributes the increase to changes in price of crude oil on the world market and the depreciating Ghana cedi.
Premix fuel, however, saw no change in price. It will still sell at 116.00 pesewas a litre.
