The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Sa-eed has been directed to act as the Upper East Regional Minister effective October 4.
Tangoba Abayage handed over her duties and responsibilities as the Upper East Regional Minister to him as she proceeds on her annual leave starting Monday, October 7.
The handing and taking over took place in the Office of the Regional Minister at the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council (UERCC) after which Salifu Sa-eed was introduced to management and staff of the Council, Bolgatanga.
Tangoba Abayage admonished management and staff to extend the same support and cooperation accorded her to the caretaker Upper East Regional Minister.
The Regional Coordinating Director assured the caretaker Minister of the cooperation and support of management and staff.
Tangoba Abayage is expected to resume work on October 31, 2019.
