Rapper Obrafour has revealed his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ documentary will be premiered soon on Joy Prime.
The documentary which tells the story of one of the country’s best singers’ 20 years journey in the music industry, was supposed to be premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas on September 27, this year.
But the premiere was suspended after producers realised there were inconsistencies in the accounts of some of the contributors.
In an interview with JoyNews’ MzGee, Obrafour stated that fans would no longer need tickets to see the documentary at the cinema as it was originally planned.
“We altered the documentary to correct the inconsistencies, so Joy Prime is going to show it for everybody to see,” he said.
Obrafour added that if his team had gone ahead to show the documentary in cinemas only a few people would have seen it.
He stated that the documentary would have a bigger audience than the cinema would have garnered.
Obrafour also added that proceeds from the ‘Pae Mu Ka’ @20 concert will be geared towards his Obrafufuornti foundation.
The foundation he explained is aimed at bringing the problems of rural education to the fore.
