Gospel musician ASP Kofi Sarpong says it has not been easy combining two careers; being a policeman and musician.
According to him, even though he has always appeared to be in control and giving off his best, he pays attention to serving his country more than his music career.
Speaking on Adom FM’s mid-morning show, Work and Happiness, Mr Sarpong said, “sometimes it amazes me how I am able to combine the two jobs in addition to managing my family.”
“I go to the studio at night to record and head to my office in the morning,” he narrated his daily routine.
He told host Black I that “On weekends when I am less busy, I try to visit the studio again to finish up on my works.”
The gospel musician said he responds when duty calls even when he has an event to perform at.
“If you invite me for a show and I have an IGP request, I will pay attention to that first. I might even perform in my uniform if I have to after that,” he added.
The gospel musician is currently promoting his new song, “Messiah”.
