The Regional Organiser of the NPP, Western Region, Mr Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed has debunked reports in the 13th November 2019 edition of the New Crusading Guide claiming that Mr Charles Bissue, Western Region Secretary of the New Patriotic Party is collapsing the party.
In a statement, he challenged the publication as untrue.
He said in the statement, “since assuming office as Regional Secretary of Western Region NPP, Mr Bissue has not only served the party diligently but also worked hard to complement efforts to strengthen the party in the region”.
It would be recalled that Mr Bissue stepped aside in March as Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining to enable investigations to be conducted following the Anas Galamsey Undercover Investigative piece.
So “it is surprising how he could have still been working in that office and interfere in the Galamsey Fight as purported in the story published by the Crusading Guide,” the statement added.
To set the records straight, he has been investigated by the Police CID and exonerated.Mr. Ganiyu Mohammed said, “as a member and Executive of the NPP in the Western Region, I want to commend Mr. Charles Bissue, for his work as Regional Secretary, Western Region NPP” since he assumed office.
His work for the NPP and its grassroots has been exemplary, according to him.
