Indigenous liquor giant, Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL), as part of its social responsibility has donated items and ten thousand cedis to the SOS Childrens Village in Tema.
The items worth five thousand cedis included rice, cooking oil, toiletries and many assorted edible goods.
Presenting the items, the Deputy Managing Director of Kasapreko, Kojo Nunoo said the gesture in the month of love is to underscore their love for the under privileged in society.
He noted that, children are the future leaders so they deserve every opportunity to unlock their God given talent and apply it judiciously in order to impact society positively.
Mr. Kojo Nunoo stated that Kasapreko is happy to associate with quality education and family life being given to the young ones at the children’s home.
Director of the facility, Isaac Ackon, who received the items on behalf of the children thanked Kasapreko for the philanthropic gesture.
“We are hopeful that these items will go a long way to help the children. Keep supporting us; we can’t wait to have you here again.”
Isaac Ackon urged other organizations and corporate bodies to emulate the Kasapreko example.
