The opposition National Democratic Congress on Tuesday held a massive demonstration to once again demand that the Electoral Commission halts its planned compilation of a new voter’s register for the December polls.
The demonstration which started at Kaukudi in Accra ended at the premises of the Commission where a petition was presented to Jean Mensa.
A similar petition was presented to the President at the Jubilee House.
In attendance was General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah; Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo; Greater Regional Chairman Ade Coker; Ningo-Prampram MP, Sam George and many others.
