The Ghana Women’s Premier League enters week 6 this weekend with some tasty fixtures.
In the Southern zone, Police Ladies will look to get back to winning ways when they host league leaders Soccer Intellectuals at the McDan La Town Park in Accra.
At the Essipong Sports stadium, Hasaacas Ladies have been impressive so far will welcome sixth-placed Sea Lions.
Immigration Ladies gave away a two-goal lead last weekend to remain bottom of the league table with two points. This week, they face a youthful Halifax Ladies at the McDan LA Town Park.
Halifax come into this game week without their head coach Mercy Tagoe who resigned earlier in the week. Assistant coach Rhoda Owusu is set to coach the side on an interim basis in the meantime.
The Robert Mensah Sports stadium will see Lady Strikers play with the struggling Samira Ladies. Lady strikers sit fourth with six points as Samaria ladies are seventh with one win so far.
The Northern Zone fixtures will kick off on Friday as Northern ladies play host to bottom-placed Supreme Ladies at the Alui Mahama Stadium in Tamale.
Prisons Ladies who lead the Northern zone table with 13 points will travel to the Wesco Park in Kumasi as they hope for their fifth win against sixth-placed fabulous ladies.
Kumasi Sports Academy will visit the Paa Joe Stadium to battle three points against AshTown ladies lying seventh with just a point.
Ampem Darkoa and Pearl Pia Ladies will battle for three points at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, they both have 10 points with Pearl Pia third on the league table by goal difference.
