Well-Care Foundation for Africa, Inc. a non-profit organisation committed to providing quality and affordable health care says it has developed a new programme to assist in the delivery of quality and affordable health care for Ghanaians.
In a statement, the group said the programme has been designed to provide health care to Ghanaians through sponsorships by families, friends and acquaintances in the Diaspora.
“Under the programme, the Sponsor will be referred to as the Participating Sponsor (PS) and the beneficiary as Participating Member (PM). You may also sponsor yourself,” the statement said.
At the core of the design, the PS and PM select a doctor or clinic, pharmacist or pharmacy, diagnostic or laboratory from a network of highly qualified health care providers called Participating Providers (PP).
The facility is eligible for assessment by all, regardless of age, gender, race, socio-economic standing, and political-orientation or educational qualification.
The organisation with offices in the US and Ghana has over the years also focussed on ensuring that health care providers are fairly compensated for their services.
