Black Stars hopeful Quincy Owusu Abayie will not turn up for today’s International friendly between against Nigeria in London.
In spite of assurances by the Ghana Football Association, Quincy is yet to be cleared by FIFA to switch nationalities to enable him play for Ghana.
Quincy Owusu Abayie has played at the junior levels for Dutch national teams.
Another player who is unlikely to show up is Wolfsburg striker Isaac Boakye. The player might not make the return to the team after a year out.
Coach Claude Leroy has called up Derek Asamoah and Derek Boateng in replacement of the two players.
The Black Stars will present an 18 man squad for Tuesday’s game. The team held its first training session on Monday.
