Kumasi Asante Kotoko is not willing to hand its head coach Telat Uzum a formal contract due to a dispute over the coach’s expected salary.
Joy Sports gathered from Kotoko source the club was not willing to pay the $10,000 demand from the coach and would prefer to part ways with the Turkish.
Joy Sports learnt that the Porcupine Warriors were only willing to pay Telat half the amount.
Telat whose probation period expired in December, had been pushing the club’s management for a fresh contract.
Despite the imminent departure of Telat back to his German base, Joy Sports understood that he was to be part of the team travelling on Tuesday to The Gambia for the CAF Champions League second leg clash with Port Authority at the weekend.
