Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, a renowned International Evangelist on Tuesday called on Ghanaians to prayerfully elect a leader who was God fearing and could propel the nation to greater heights of development.He noted that God had bestowed on the nation lots of rich potentials and resources and it was only a trustworthy leader who could help to unearth the developmental potentials of the nation.Dr. Tetteh, in an interview with the GNA therefore cautioned Ghanaians to be on their guard and choose the right leaders in the 2008 general elections for the common good of all citizens.He said the time had come for the religious bodies to come together in unity, sincerely wait on God to give the nation a God fearing leader adding, “It is only a God-fearing leader who will get the nation to the level of elevation destined for the country”.Dr. Tetteh urged Ghanaians to elect a leader who will not undermine the credibility of the nation adding, “God-fearing leaders will help the nation to succeed”.He called for circumspection in the choice of words, especially during the campaign period to avoid conflicts which might plunge the country into chaos.Source: GNA
