The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved major changes at its secretariat meant to improve the day-to-day administration of the game.
Three new positions have been created at the secretariat to meet the growing needs of the GFA with new divisions for Marketing and Domestic Competitions, International Competitions, International Relations and Protocol as well as Finance and Administration.
Emmanuel Gyimah will stay in his position at the Acting General Secretary while Isaac Addo will be the Deputy General Secretary for the newly-created Marketing and Domestic Competitions Division.
Ibrahim Sannie will stay in his position as the Deputy General Secretary in charge of the Communications Division while the long-serving Alex Asante has been promoted to be a Deputy General Secretary to take charge of the newly-created International Competitions, International Relations and Protocol Division.
Another long-serving staff of the GFA, Ismaila Gado Amin has been promoted to be a Deputy General Secretary to take charge of the newly-created Finance and Administration Division.
