It's 'robbery' if you do not pay tithes -- that's basically what every Christian is told.
If you are a Christian, it is most likely the subject of tithing gets you alarmed, because the belief is that if you don't pay you should count yourself damned.
In some churches salvation and tithing are preached with the same measure of fervour.
Nana Ansah Kwao IV, host of That's My Opinion on Joy 99.7 says he knows some Christians who have borrowed money to pay their tithes.
Some churches keep records of 'tithers' to hound the errant congregant.
While other churches will not perform your funeral service if you owe tithes before your demise -- or a family member's demise.
What does the Bible say? And out of the four types of tithing, which one are Christians commanded to obey? These are some of the questions worthy of interogation.
And while the argument on whether to tithe on the gross or net of one's salary rages on in some circles, join Nana Ansah Kwao IV at 2:05pm today and get his insights -- opinions soaked in facts -- on the subject of tithing.
But make no mistake: fact is, the Lord loves a cheerful giver.
