Technical director of promoted Fetteh Feyenoord Sam Arday says their objective is the stay in the top-flight for long.
The Academy side beat Dunkwa United 2-1 on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium to seal a return to the Premier League after a seven-year hiatus.
Feyenoord first got promoted in 2004 and played for three seasons before being demoted.
Arday, who won the 1995 FIFA U17 World Cup in Ecuador, believes the current generation is determined to remain in the elite division for long.
“I will like to congratulate head coach John Killa and the entire playing body for this feat,” the 1992 Olympic Games bronze medal winning coach said.
“We faced various challenges on our way but we kept our focus.
“We are the first academy to play in the national league. This is our second time of qualifying and we would work hard to stay.”
