Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited has ended its World Cup campaign dubbed 'Swipe to Brazil' aimed at rewarding its loyal customers throughtout the country.
The promotion, which was in association with Visa, rewarded two lucky customers, Stephen Kwesi Anin and Pedro Pinheiro. They will have the opportunity to take their partners to Brazil to witness the football fiesta.
As part of their prize package, they will get a return ticket to Brazil, domestic flight, to match venues, four days and three nights to spend at four star hotels with double occupancy.
In addition, the winners will also get $150.00 visa prepaid money card spending money in Brazil and tickets to watch the Ghana versus Portugal match.
Addressing the media after the draw, Head of Personal and Business Banking at Stanbic, Nana Dwemoh Benneh said 50 per cent of the 11,000 transactions were done in Ghana and the other half outside the country.
He said the behaviour change campaign was successful and the bank is looking forward to providing customers with innovation products in future.
Mr Ben Mensah, Head of Markets, said the introduction of Point of Sales (POS) devices would offer cutting edge banking to clients and convenience.
The devices will enable electronic card holders to make payments for goods and services in various shopping centres that the POS will be deployed.
