Consumers of GIHOC products could go to Brazil 2014, win a Hyundai Elantra if they patronise some selected products from today.
GIHOC distilleries company Ltd has launched the GIHOC Chill and Win promotion rallying clients to note "if it's not from GIHOC then tweaaa"
'Tweaa' a Twi slang shot into unexpected popularity after a DCE Gabriel Barima was captured on video expressing anger at the audience, after an unknown individual allegedly said "tweaa" during his speech.
The expression caught international attention and apparently has commercial value.
GIHOC described by Managing Director Mrs. Kay Kwao Simmonds as a 'sleeping giant' is now aggressive in pushing the brand to higher heights.
The mechanics for this promotion is simple, all you have to do is to buy a regular or PET bottle of Mandingo, Herb Afrik or castle bridge, on each bottle you will find a red sticker with a grey scratch panel, scratch the panel and text the code you see to 1762 on any Network and you will be charged just 30p.
The more bottles you buy, scratch and text the more your chances of winning.
The Ultimate prize is a brand new Hyundai Elantra; we also have a trip to Brazil which will be given in the form of cash, Motorbikes, 40 inch LED TV’s and other exciting prizes.
A winner will be announced each month from May to July. Winner of the month of May will travel to Brazil.
The Managing Director assured consumers that GIHOC will "continue to produce the best, the finest and the smoothest alcoholic beverages" and enjoined consumers to note that if an alcoholic "is not from GIHOC...Tweeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa"
