Betty Allotey-Sowah returned a net score of 69 to beat Suzie Abaloo-Kumasah on count-back to win this year's Tema Country Golf Club Lady Captain's Prize Championship played at the Tema Golf course on Sunday.
Betty who played 44 In and 49 Out with a Handicap of 24 will be playing to a new Handicap of 22.
Mary Hanson took the third position with 70 net while Margaret Owusu-Baah placed fourth with 71 net beating Esther Amedzro on count-back.
M.K. Nukunu won the Men's category with 68 net, G.W.K. Ntsiful was second with 69 net while E.O. Donkor took the third position with 71 net.
In the Professional's category, John Mawule came first with 66 gross, T.K. Agama and David Doe placed second with 70 gross, S.K. Klah and M. Komash were third with 71 gross while Baba Akologo and Anthony Amuzu took the fourth position with 72 gross.
The One-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition was sponsored by Mrs Adelaide Owusu-sAdjapong, Lady Captain of Tema Country Golf Club.
She called on parents to encourage their daughters to take active interest in the sport.
