The June Medal Open Golf Championship of the Celebrity Golf Club tees off at Sakumono, near Tema on Sunday, June 29.
Mr Joe Ohemeng, Captain of the Celebrity Golf Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Thursday, that about 100 golfers are expected t o participate in the competition which is aimed at sharpening the strokes of the participants for a major competition.
He said the club had provided the necessary infrastructure by turning the Browns into Greens to ensure that the Course was in shape for good play.
The competition, which is open to amateur golfers from the Greater Accra Region, is being sponsored by the Celebrity Golf Club.
Mr Kobinan Quansah, President of the Club is expected to present trophies to the winners.
