Ghana are through to the finals of this year's African Women’s Championship after beating Ethiopia 3-0 on Sunday in Tamale to qualify.
Goals from Faiza Ibrahim, Elizabeth Cudjoe and Hillia Kobblah gave the Black Queens the win as they complete a 5-nil aggregate victory over both legs in the final round qualifier.
The Black Queens led 2-0 at halftime after Faiza opened the scoring at the Tamale Stadium through a penalty.
United States-based Cudjoe, who scored in the first leg doubled Ghana's advantage put Yussif Basigi's side in the driving seat and on their way to the Championship to be staged by Namibia.
After recess, the Black Queens pushed but only succeeded in finding the back of the net once as Kobblah scored to wrap up victory.
Ghana and six teams will joins hosts Namibia for the2014 African Women’s Championship. Holders Equatorial Guinea will play not part in the finals after failing to qualify.
The final tournament which will start from 11-24 October will also serve the continental qualifier for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada next year.
