Portugal key player, Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday cut short a training session with the team after what looked like a damage to his tendintis.
He left the field with an ice pack over his left knee.
The Real Madrid maestro is relied upon in the Portugal team, but the 29-year-old's campaign could have taken a hit if the injury that bothered him at Real Madrid has made its way to Brazil.
Ronaldo trained with the rest of the team for about 15-20 minutes doing physical exercises but then did not take part in the rest of the session with full ball drills.
Instead, he stretched on his own and signed a few shirts for fans before going to sit on the bench. When he left, he had an ice pack over his left knee.
Ronaldo has been bothered by left leg injuries ahead of the World Cup, and was sidelined for two weeks with tendinitis in the knee and a thigh problem.
Nana Kwaku Bonsam – whose name translates literally as “Devil of Wednesday” – predicted in February that the Real Madrid forward would be forced to miss the tournament in Brazil with injury.
Kwaku Bonsam says he is behind Ronaldo's injuries.
A statement from the Portuguese FA on Wednesday confirmed that Ronaldo is suffering from tendinosis in his left knee as well as nursing a muscle problem in his left thigh, which caused him to miss the 0-0 draw with Greece at the weekend.
Ghana are set to meet Portugal in their final match of Group G in Brasilia on 26 June and Bonsam claims to have conjured a special powder from his gods, mixed with several leaves and concoctions which have been placed around an image and caricature of the former Manchester United player.
