Kweku Tettedzi scored 41 points to win this year’s Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited Invitational Golf Championship played at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday.
Tettedzi who played 19 Back and 22 Front with a Handicap of four, would now play to a new Handicap of three.
Godwin Sai took the second position with 40 points with Bob Evans placing third with 38 points while Theophilus Gouvinus placed fourth with 37 points, beating Carl Brew-Aidoo and Paul Owusu-Baahn on count-back.
Eno Ofori-Attah won the Ladies category with 33 points followed by Victoria Adjei at the second position with 32 points with Vivian Avornyo placing third with 31 points, while Esi Cobbina came fourth with 30 points.
About 120 amateur golfers from Achimota, Tema and Celebrity Golf Clubs took part in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition.
Mr Bob Evans, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club thanked the Bank for sponsoring the annual event and for their continued support and urged other corporate bodies to help develop the sport in the country.
Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of Stanbic Bank gave the assurance that the Bank would continue to support the promotion and development of the sport in the country.
