The entire membership of the Sports Writers Association (SWAG) will participate in the funeral ceremony of the late Joseph Kwame Amoa-Bosompem, scheduled for Saturday, February 24.
Amoa-Bosompem, the former Accra Representative of Kumasi Asante Kotoko is one of the longest serving officials of the Club.
According to the funeral arrangements, there will be no wake-keeping but the body will be laid in state at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, Dansoman on Saturday, February 24, from 6:00 am to 8:00 am with Memorial Service to come off at the same venue from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
The body of the deceased will then be conveyed to his home town, Akyem Awisa after the Church service for burial.
Final funeral rights is scheduled for the same day from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm with a Thanks Giving Service coming on the next day at the Ebenezer Methodist Church, Dansoman and a family gathering after the Service.
Mr Ackah Anthony, President of SWAG will lead the delegation to the funeral and has therefore urged all members to turn up in their numbers to mourn with the family of the late Amoa-Bosompem.
