United States Ambassador to Ghana Gene Cretz is predicting a 3-2 win against Ghana in the upcoming match between the two countries, Monday, evening.
Speaking exclusively to Joy News' Gifty Andoh Appiah, the Ambassador admits to a sense of discomfort ahead of the game.
The US have been eliminated in the last two editions of the World Cup by the Black Stars of Ghana but the Ambassador says he cannot be less confident about victory for his side this time round.
When Andoh-Appiah proposed the idea of the US just focusing on Basket Ball, the Ambassador laughed it off, saying, it is the American agenda to pursue all endeavours and with all diligence.
He said the 2014 World Cup has been pregnant with lots of surprises, citing the shocking defeat of Uruguay by Costa Rica and the heavy defeat Spain suffered against Holland.
He is confident another shocking results is in the offing as Ghana take on US.
