President and owner of Kumasi King Faisal Alhaji Karim Grunsah has ordered Sulley Muntari to apologize to Ghanaians for his unruly behavior during Ghana’s campaign at this year’s World Cup in Brazil.
The AC Milan midfielder showed gross disrespect to the country and team, and got himself in a fight with Moses Armah Parker, a management committee member of the team in Brazil.
Sulley after the incident, was suspended and thrown out of camp and his future now with the Black Stars, is uncertain.
Alhaji Grunsah has condemned Muntari’s ill-mannered and consistently disrespectful behavior and wants him to apologize and turn a new leaf.
“I pray for him to change but with what he has done I won’t follow or support him,” Grunsah, a relative of Sulley told Joy Sports.
“Sulley is my nephew, son and we Zongo people we are proud of him...Sulley is a son of Zongo chief.
“I didn’t think Sulley could do such a thing because what he did was bad and I want him to come out and apologise.”
