The wife of the National Democratic Congress presidential hopeful has hit the campaign trail to canvass votes for her husband Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
Mrs Naadu Mills who has been on the quiet for some time now told supporters at the Mamprobi and Dansoman markets that the NDC under her husband will secure a better future for all.
The retired educationist accused the New Patriotic Party administration of running down the economy and gave the assurance that the NDC with a new breath of life will change the dwindling economic fortunes of Ghana.
She told Joy news’ Sammy Darko after her campaign tour that the NPP had imposed "eight years of hardship on Ghanaians, but her party promises a better life for all."
With wives of Nana Akufo-Addo and Paa Kwesi Nduom presidential candidates of the New Patriotic Party and Convention People’s Party respectively all ready in the heat of the campaign, questions were raised about the whereabouts of Mrs Naadu Mills.
But she told Joy news; “I have been supporting my husband in my own small way.”
The former second lady is expected to take her campaign tour to other markets in the country.
