Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has held talks with Germany-based defender Hans Adu Sarpei to assure him that he has a future with the Black Stars. The Serbian called the Bayer Leverkuseen player on Wednesday to wish him speedy recovery after an ankle injury that has kept him out of action since the start of the Bundeliga season.Rajevac told the 32-year-old Sarpei, one of Ghana's key players at the African Cup of Nations in January that he will be considered in future matches when he recovers from injury."Hans is an experienced player with good technique and at the African Cup of Nations he showed why he has played at the top level for long," Rajevac told Ghanasoccernet."I wanted him to return for the Lesotho game but his club doctors say he needs some time to fully recover even though he is now working in the gym.
"I have told him that the doors to the Black Stars are open and when he recovers we will need him for the second phase of the qualifiers.
"I dont know what really happened in the past but I know that he has always given 100 per cent and he is disciplined."Sarpei is expected to return to action for his club by next month.Source: Ghanasoccernet
