Everton have snapped up Ghana international Christian Atsu on a season-long loan, Goal Ghana can reveal.
The Goodison Park side have assured Atsu’s mother club Chelsea that he will earn more game time this season.
The winger’s representative Tony Appiah told Goal the player is better off with Roberto Martinez’s charges.
The speedy winger has been on the radar of Sunderland and Swansea, but The Toffees provided the right package to secure his services, according to Appiah.
He said it was a good decision and believes the ex-Porto player will make good use of the opportunity in the English Premier League as Everton eye a top four finish and engage in Europe.
