Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta has been left with a broken nose after being headbutted in the tunnel following his side's 2-0 French league win against Bastia.
Motta was left with blood running down his nose after Bastia striker Brandao headbutted him, having waited in the tunnel for the Italian after the match.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has called for Brandao to be banned for life after saying the incident left Motta with a broken nose, though the club have not disclosed any details of the injury.
Immediately after the incident, Brandao - who was making his debut for Bastia - ran away toward his team's dressing room before PSG players could surround him.
"He waited for Thiago Motta in the tunnel and attacked him with a headbutt," Al-Khelaifi told beIN Sports. "He should be banned for life."
