Angel Di Maria has been given permission by Real Madrid to sign for Manchester United this summer as long as they meet his £50m valuation.
Di Maria has been tracked by the Old Trafford club all summer with a £100m package ready to be offered to the Argentine as new boss Louis van Gaal looks to boost his squad.
Conflicting reports have come out of Madrid with manager Carlo Ancelotti thought to want to keep the attacker while the board were ready to cash in after making marquee signings Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez.
But the former Chelsea coach has now had a change of heart and is ready to let Di Maria go to Old Trafford, the Sun reports.
It is claimed that Madrid have told the Argentina international he can sign for United if he wants, as long as they meet his £50m asking price.
PSG have already pulled out of a deal for him and while Arsenal and Monaco are also linked, both clubs are looking at other signings instead.
