Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic has named a 25-man squad to face Ghana and Guinea in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Serbian born dropped strikers Emmanuel Okwi and Daniel Sserunkuma when he announced his players on Wednesday during a press conference at the FA headquarters in Mengo.
Portugal based defender Alex Kakuba who features for Estouria has also been recalled to the team together with the South African based playersDenis Onyango and Geoffrey Massa who missed the away game againstMauritania last month.
Youngster Yunus Ssentamu who scored three goals for the Cranes at the 2014 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) and now features for AS Vita of DR Congo has also been invited.
The Cranes will play away to Ghana on September 5 in the first Group E match in Kumasi.
