The Ghana Weightlifting Federation (GWF) has decided to reinstate coach Majeti Fetrie after some months of suspension.
Fetrie, was suspended by the GWF for acts of indiscipline, but he subsequently apologised to the federation for his conduct in his letter dated August 3.
In a letter addressed to the coach, it said, “we wish to inform you that, the Board has accepted your apology and has accordingly reinstated you as the coach of the National Weightlifting team, the Black Cranes”.
It said, “the Board however expects you to be of good behaviour and wish to caution that, any misdemeanour on your part in future will not be tolerated”.
Fetrie, missed the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, due to the suspension.
The GWF has in recent times been one of the most viberant federations in Ghana, with series of activities on the local and international scene.
