Manchester United ace Paul Scholes has told Ghanaian youngster and team-mate Danny Welbeck that he will get his chance this season.
He said: "We have young players coming through and doing well. Danny Welbeck has been really impressive when they have played.
"There's a different team playing every week now and I think with the amount of games we've had, because of the Super Cup, the trip to Japan and the Carling Cup, there needs to be freshness."
Welbeck was born to Ghanaian parents in Britain and even though has played for England and youth level he can still play for the Black Stars.
Management of the Black Stars have not hidden their intentions to lure Welbeck into the national team, but are yet to make a breakthrough.
