A group of youth clad in New Patriotic Party clothes are reported to be on rampage at the offices of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
The about 100 youth are marching on the Commission to warn it to cancel presidential election results from the Volta region, and also stop the announced running of the presidential runoff in the Tain Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region.
One of a few placards they held read, "No Volta, No Tain", and a journalist who witnessed the scene told Joy FM the youth were burning a spent tyres in the middle of the road across the EC offices.
They also attack passing vehicles with National Democratic Congress party paraphernalia, as well as plundering NDC flags and billboards in the locality.
Security personnel stationed at the EC offices have mounted crash barriers to keep the supporters at bay.
