Tema, a port city crafted and built as part of Ghana’s dream industrial revolution has lost its old glory.
The plush lawns, well-laid out and beautifully planned city, is now in ruins. And the model, modern city of hope, has been turned into an uninspiring slum whose upkeep no one cares about.
In this week’s edition of Hotline Documentary aired on Thursday October 2, 2014, Joy News’ Joseph Opoku Gakpo tells the story of how the once golden city is now a pale shadow of itself.
