Hosts Togo on Friday qualified for the semi-finals of the ongoing African under-17 tournament.
They overcame Gabon 2:1 in a grueling encounter to join Ghana’s Black Starlets and Nigeria’s Eaglets.
Tunisia and South Africa were to battle it out on Friday evening to determine the final semi-finalist.
The four semi-finalists will be Africa’s representative at the World Under-17 Championships.
Tunisia who were the group leaders with four points but South Africa, with three points were plotting their own qualification.
Their coach, Solly Lohvengho reckoned the game would be tough but said their ambition was to qualify no matter what.
