First division side Yeji Stars have lost their appeal against Catholic Stars' participation in the first divisional zonal middle league this weekend.
Yeji Stars were contesting the eligibility of Catholic Stars to play in the competition because they claimed Catholic Stars had fielded an unqualified player in one of the league matches.
However the GFA's Appeal's Committee threw out the case after hearing on Thursday.
Catholic Stars will now play B.A United on Sunday with Wa All Stars playing Lepo Stars in the other Zone 1 encounter.
There will be games in Zones Two and Three where Eleven Wise plays Mine Stars in one of the pick of the matches on match day one of the playoffs.
