A 20-year-old unemployed, Kwabena Fuseini, has appeared before a circuit court in Goaso charged with attempting to rape a married woman.
He pleaded guilty.
Chief Inspector Erasmus Ofori told the court that both Mr. Robert Annea and Fuseini resided at Kukuom.
At about midnight on February 25 Fuseini entered the house of Mr. Annea, who was sleeping outside his room and switched off the lights, plunging the house into darkness.
Chief Inspector Ofori said Fuseini then moved into Mr. Annea’s bedroom where the wife was sleeping and attempted to rape her.
The case was reported to the police and Fuseini was arrested.
