The Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Building, (CIOB) Ghana, Rockson Dogbegah has received an International Outstanding Achievement Award in Business Management.
The unique competition which spans the disciplines of the built environment sector is run by the Chartered Institute of Building. The award was conferred on him in London, UK on 25th November, 2014, along with four others from Canada, Hongkong and UK.
Mr, Dogdegah who is also the Chairman and Founder of indigenous construction firm, Berock Ventures Limited, was honoured for his role and success in the construction industry, having founded and nurtured Berock Ventures over 20 years into one of the most successful construction companies in Ghana, handling key projects across the country.
Speaking after the awards, Mr. Dogbegah who has already picked a number of awards locally, said it was about time indigenous companies took over the commanding heights of the Ghanaian economy, adding that was the way the growth rate figures will reflect in the lives of the average person.
