International businessman and ardent golfer, Sir Sam Jonah will chair the 2nd Ghana Golf Awards (GGA), fixed for Saturday, December 27, at the Events Haven, Trade Fare, La, Accra.
Sir Jonah, who was awarded the 2013 GGA Personality of the Year, will be the man to steer affairs for the night, where 20 distinguished golfers and organisations will be decorated for their contribution to the development of the sport in Ghana.
Sir Jonah, will be among the high-profile personalities expected to grace the second edition of the event, with Okyehene Osgayefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II, Life Patron of the GGA, also attending.
Other dignitaries expected to attend are the Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mr Joe Kpenge and the Minister for Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga.
In all 20 golfers will be honoured for their distinguished performance in the year 2014.
The second edition of the GGA will be uniBank, Coca-Cola, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited, Latex Foam, Azar Paints, Cal Bank, Jandel Limited and Special Ice.
Media organisations such as Asempa Fm and Adom Fm are also partnering the event.
