Tema Youth worsened the plight of relegation threatened Tano Bofoakwa when they beat them 2-0 in the Premier League match played at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium, Cape Coast on Saturday.
Tema Youth scored the opener through a spot-kick in the 10th minute taken by mid-fielder Gado Mohammed.
Sensing danger, Bofoakwa forced the tide in their favour from the 30th minute and made several efforts to find the equalizer but the defence men of Tema Youth foiled all their attempts at goal.
Tema Youth resumed the second half full of fight as they dictated play and it came as no surprise when in the 66th minute Kofi Koomson beat his markers to increase his side’s goal tally to two.
