The Police Administration has warned of sanctions against personnel who fail to wear name tags.A directive was issued about two months ago, but not much action was taken against defaulting officers.But, Director of Operations, ACP Boye Joy News the service will not allow any undisciplined officer to undermine new initiatives being introduced to combat crime and check activities of imposters.“If after this education we go round we happen to apprehend them, we are going to take very serious sanctions against them,” ACP Boye emphasized.The Police Administration believes the directive will assist in identifying criminals who pose as policemen.
